RZ Woodwind Manufacturing is the General Partner of the competition. The production of musical instruments in Kraslice has been known all over the world since the 17th century. Handcraft has been a stable foundation of this magnificent and unique tradition for the past centuries, but it disappeared in its original form during the industrialization in the second half of the 20th century. Small workshops, which managed to preserve the old traditions, began to engage in the creation of musical instruments. One of these places is our RZ workshop, founded in 2000 in Kraslice. Initially, the masters did the repair of woodwind instruments, mainly oboes and clarinets. The high quality of the work carried out over the years has contributed to the entry of the RZ workshop into cooperation with well-known German manufacturers engaged in the manufacture of woodwind instruments. Thanks to this, the workshop opened up opportunities for expanding their enterprise, and began to plan their own production of instruments. The workshop was regularly visited by the world-famous Czech soloist Milan Rericha, who adopted the idea of producing Czech-built professional clarinets and offered his help in the development of instruments.
At the moment, many solo and orchestral musicians have made their choice in favor of RZ. A wide range of models allows you to find an instrument, both for beginners and professionals. RZ clarinets are distinguished by their clear intonation, easy response in any register and beautiful timbre; each instrument is individually tested by Milan Rericha and has a three-year warranty.
Rampone&Cazzani is the general partner of the contest . This is a company that has been producing premium handmade instruments with a unique timbre for many years. The current directorship treats with awe the ancient family tradition of creating instruments by hand: their quality is able to satisfy musicians with the most demanding taste. Rampone & Cazzani offers a wide range of saxophones from sopranino to baritone, including unusual models such as Saxello, Altello and Saxellino.
